Prayers up here, my friend. I cannot imagine the trial you’re going through. May God give you grace and strength.
First I will share the words of our Lord and Savior, when He said, ”Whatever you do for the least of these you do for Me,”so your brother-inlaw’s family will surely understand and desire you to be where you are, caring for a dying son.
Lord, in Your Mercy, please surround this family with Your Comfort, Protection, Mercy and Healing Powers.
If it is Your Will, supernaturally heal this man who is so near death; if it is Your Will, carry him quickly to Your Arms, lest his suffering not be prolonged.
Lord, if it is Your Will, please allow this grieving father to surround his own son to share his love and patriarchal blessing as the son slips into the bounds of earth into heaven.
Lord, lift this mother who’s loving and undying love for her only child, up to Your Holy arms for a special blessing as You alone can understand.
Lord, please bring the gift of love, care and total comfort only You are able to provide throughout this human ordeal.
I pray now in the only Name Above All Names, Jesus Christ, amen.

I don’t know which is worse; losing a child at once (like Karen and me with Jacob) or watching them fade away by degrees (like you and Ruby with Daniel). I feel so sorry for you and Ruby because I know your struggle is not over by a long shot.
You will have to find a new ‘normal’ as the old normal is gone forever. Let those close to your family help, they will be helping themselves as much as they will be helping you.
1 Corinthians 10:13, God will not allow more trouble than you can bear. Praying for you and Ruby, and for Daniel’s comfort in his final days.
Father God,
Author of our lives, source and goal of our being,
We lift up to Your grace and mercy this family Daniel, Ruby and trebb.
If any is not saved, may their hearts be filled with the awareness of Your great Love and Power to understand, to forgive and to make all things right, gracious Lord.
As Ruby and Daniel let go, as they are sheltered by the loving presence of trebb, may Your peace descend on their hearts. May Ruby rest in You, knowing that You will receive all those who repent and call upon You.
We ask that all this family’s needs be supplied, and that help come from many directions and for a sustained period of healing.
In Jesus’ mighty Name,
