Called “The Last Jedi: De-Feminized Fanedit (aka The Chauvinist Cut),” the cut-down version is clearly intended to satirize the complaints about the movie’s heavy focus on Finn’s aimless sidekick, Rose (who’s referred to as “Asian chick” and “China girl), and the pink-haired admiral played by Laura Dern. Most of their scenes, along with Leia’s and Rey’s, are significantly reduced.
Despite having every indication of being a work of satire, the cut has sparked a backlash from the progressive media who are lamenting what they see as an insurgence of men’s rights activists in the geek community.
Clever and sendig feminists into hysterical fits. Love it.
Laura Dern character is like typical liberal.

I watched it. It made no sense unless you watched the original cut.
They basically cut out all the SJW stuff and the scenes where the selfless female saved the day while the men did basically nothing but die impotently.
Definitely the worst Star Wars movie ever made. They would have been better off never making this one and ending the franchise. Even better; put out a press release apologizing for this major blunder of a movie saying they are working on the real one to replace it.

It fell to second place in its second week, and the opening week was significantly below expectations.
China, as I recall, has been the number one international market for USA films for quite a few years now.
The failure in China will translate into several hundred million dollars in lost revenue.
The reason for the China failure?
According to Chinese marketing experts, the Chinese don't understand or care about the historical links to Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, which dominate the plot.
Personally, I doubt that.
Mark Hamill and Carrie Fischer were completely average actors in the first trilogy, and they did not improve with age, or with the new politically correct plot and script, or with the fact that Hamill portrayed an angry and bitter old man in The Last Jedi.

Agree for the most part since Star Wars I, II and III were not so good. What bothers me most is the loss of the spirit from the first movie. Uplifting and fun.
This movie should have been called “Feminists Stile Back”.

This Star Wars movie is suffering from the same thing so many tv shows are; the in your face LGBT and general SJW crap. Also, for some reason Hollyweird has decided it’s time for woman power, so they are pushing for more strong female roles while at the same time pushing for fewer good guy male roles; especially white males. It’s all so blatantly transparent for those who care to see it.
It’s also rude and uncalled for. It’s never a good thing to push one group up while pushing another one down. The left did this with cigarette smokers. They demonized them and punished them through excessive taxation. They do this with fat people now and as we are seeing all the time; with white people but with the white males more than anyone else. The future is bleak for white males right now.
The left truly is a cancer on society. It kills the healthy parts leaving only blackened hate-filled necrotic husks. Left unopposed it kills everything in its path then kills itself eventually because it feeds on others instead of producing anything of any value for society. The left is a parasite which eventually kills its host. I hope a cure is found soon and not just stop-gap measures like a good President such as Trump. Look at what one bad President did before him.
The problem is the left has the news media, high schools and colleges, Hollyweird, and social media which all brain wash and indoctrinate the people, especially the young, to hate the very things that made America great. Sad and disgusting. The news media is control by maybe a half dozen people who all want Trump out of office so we are forced to endure all this noise and BS from the MSM daily.
I hate that they are trying to normalize transgenderism. It isn’t normal and never can be. A person is what they were born to be. If their brain tells them they are something different then they are mentally ill and need help; not pacified by trying to change societal norms which do nothing good for the gender dystopia person. Being Gay is an aberration. Ever notice how Gay people tend to be mean and angry all the time. I don’t trust them for a second. They know what they do goes against nature but they do it anyway and hate themselves for it because at some level they know it’s wrong; especially for the guys. Women are a bit different in that they are feminine and there’s no penetration involved in the wrong orifices with sex parts. Girls have slumber parties and sleep innocently in the same bed. Boys go camping and maybe share a tent.
