Are they really as difficult to disassemble as the reviewer says?

I have one of the 45 ACP versions. It isn’t really hard to break down, once you figure out the instructions provided. It just seems strange, compared to every other firearm out there.

One of the very good things is that there is very little in the rifle to go wrong. The straight blowback action is very simple.

In fact, it is so simple that Hi-Point says that you should not clean the piece until after the first 1000 rounds. Unless, of course, you are going to store it long term, like over the winter months.

They’re not Glock or 1911 easy. After you do it a couple of times you get used to it.
