Not buying that it's propaganda. Son in law was smoking it in his teens and constant user over past 23 years. My daughter went thru nursing school and has almost 20 years in the field from trauma nurse to her present ICU nurse. 3 kids, youngest is 16. The bum has held 2 jobs in the last 20 or so years, none for more than a few months and his resume claim to fame is 'pizza delivery driver'. When her youngest hits 18, I am sure it will be adios between them at last. Lazy doesn't even begin to describe him. He spends every penny he can con out of her on the stuff and her oldest son is following right in his mentor daddys footsteps. Sad.
Some people who drink alcohol have the same issues as you describe. Others do not and function fine.
The same goes for pot smoking. Some people function fine their whole lives smoking pot. Others don't.
It has to do with the individuals. Not with what they choose to use for recreation necessarily.
My view is that if the warning comes from the government, it definitely is propaganda.
One needs only remember "Reefer Madness" to see that scare tactics and dire warnings are the government's way of distributing propaganda to the public.
Anyone who doesn’t smoke mj, and knows others who do, knows the truth about it.
And if said person used to smoke it, you cannot fool them with lies about how mj is harmless, doesn’t make people lazy, or stupid, or crazy, etc.
I used to smoke it in the bad old days with much lower THC, plus hash when I could get it. Stopped decades ago.
MJ is a dangerous drug and dopers lie plus they can’t think rationally.
Ok, so HE is lazy. I get it. There are people out there that are lazy. Some of them were just as lazy BEFORE they started smoking pot. Some of them continue to be lazy. Some people pick up a gun and decide to shoot people with it. Most people don't. Some people choose to overeat and become massively lazy, too. See the common thread here?
I first tried pot at 15. By 17, I was smoking regularly and have continued to do so. 25 years later, I've raised 2 kids, run for public office (as a Republican), completed a 4 year degree (while working 2 jobs AND raising a family), have a record in Business Management of producing results, regularly receive bonuses and other recognition for my performance and am a monthly donor to FR and general productive and contributing member of society. One of my kids uses pot every once in a while, usually when on vacation from the job he's held for over 5 years. My daughter prefers her wine over the pot, and doesn't really use it.
It depends on the person. If they are lazy to begin with, they will continue to be lazy. Peddle your propaganda elsewhere.
