Publicity is everything for those who want to remain relevant
Running neck and neck with the Donald Trump-led America recovery known as MAGA, the Entertainment Industry has its own recovery program called ‘Make a Public Display of Hating Trump To Return Us To Rich and Famous Again’.
For myriad Hollywood Has-Beens and fast fading stars, hating Trump is the only way out of the Dem Dumpster in which they now find themselves.
Without the notoriety of Trump to heap their hatred upon, the far left who finds its heart is the Entertainment Industry would DUBA (Dry Up and Blow Away). Oh, Happy, Happy Day when it finally comes!
Haven’t watched SNL since the original cast left.................
Stoking fears is usually quite profitable to the few by way of the many. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Starting in 2017, what was some what unbiased, became totaly biased.
1. Late night comics. Kimmel was at least approachable in the past, no longer so. Comedy channel goes all in.
2. Award shows. The bias had been incidental, pre 2017, now it’s constant and unwatchable.
3. CNN. They had been priding themselves as an international news resource, with some unbiased coverage, pre 2017. Now it’s all in.
4. Sports. Sports became a political soapbox for players, owners and broadcasters. Not just NFL. Who cares about the politics of Olympic skiers?
But it is working for them. This is how they get ratings, the way Limbaugh got them starting in 1988.
However, mass media that is acceptable to all, where politics don’t matter is rare. It’s a short list.
1. College sports.
2. MLB, possibly NBA.
3. Natural disaster coverage.
4. Internet video memes of children, cats or dogs.
5. Some business coverage, technological breakthroughs.
What am I missing?
Yes, but please explain why the NFL has dropped in its TV ratings and games attendance and why awards shows (that are now Trump hate fests big time) are having very poor TV ratings as well and also movie ticket receipts are very poor as of late. Seems that hating Trump doesn’t play well in many places outside of blue state megapolitan areas.

I would put money on Lebron raising his fists during the Finals this summer.
He is extremely anti-Trump, and he’s old enough now to be politically aware.
And he’s a sports untouchable right now.
