Paul Ryan’s governing caucus is dwindling.
A number of the speaker's closest comrades in the House have called it quits in recent weeks because they're tired of President Donald Trump's antics, depressed over the GOP's dearth of legislative accomplishments this year or have personal reasons. Whatever the causes, the departures are certain to make Ryan's job as House speaker harder, depriving him of loyal lieutenants in a conference already riven by ideological and stylistic divisions.

Trump’s antics!? You mean BS stories written about him, forcing him to defend himself?
Ryan has gotten nothing done, that is the reason for the defections.
A few years ago I was reading about some medicine that can be fed to dogs and cats that will make fleas literally jump off the animals within about one minute. These guys remind me of that.
BS! These guys have it all.... House, Senate and White House....They should be having the best times of their lives even if they do not care much for Trump but instead they are acting like he is the enemy, when he has signed every bill they sent but for some reason the principles they have run on year after year are not what they stand for.
There is only one explanation, they are controlled by the same people that control the Dems and are terrified of what is coming. The last time this type of thing happened, there was a child sex ring in their halls that was getting ready to be taken down....they retired or had accidents and heart attacks. This is the "calm before the storm" and they know it and some are running for the hills in hopes the rules have not changed and they can escape.
Now that DC Swamp is not that gravy train easy, they simply abandon their responsibility and people who voted them in.

They are getting away from Ryan before the MOAB hits.
