Yes, and I’m not sure at why point you develop the sixth sense to know that there are certain forces that build a society, a culture, a nation. And other forces that tear it down, even if the intentions are good.
Even myself, I was believing free trade to be the guiding principle of capitalism. But it’s much more than that. And free trade can be harmful if it goes too far.
But the rise of Trump the candidate and president — and my interactions and reading on FR — has shown me that a nation should mirror the cohesiveness of a small family. It needs to protect itself, and take care of its own. It needs to sharpen its marketing and work skills. And there must be honesty, respect, and moral righteousness within the family.
The family is a model of the nation. And Trump is a nurturing and protective Dad for our nation.
