The Russian collusion case explodes

This is BIG. Yuge. If you have been paying attention, you might notice that the furor over the alleged Russian collusion has been, as Anthony Weiner might say, petering out. It is likely to get completely smothered by the media now that evidence of the real Russian collusion has been revealed:

Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.

The FBI knew, Barack Obama knew, Eric Holder knew, Hillary Clinton knew. Seems as though they were all in on the plot to bribe Hillary Clinton:
They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.

Obama and Eric Holder buried it:
Rather than bring immediate charges in 2010, however, the Department of Justice (DOJ) continued investigating the matter for nearly four more years, essentially leaving the American public and Congress in the dark about Russian nuclear corruption on U.S. soil during a period when the Obama administration made two major decisions benefitting Putin’s commercial nuclear ambitions.

The first decision occurred in October 2010, when the State Department and government agencies on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States unanimously approved the partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russian nuclear giant Rosatom, giving Moscow control of more than 20 percent of America’s uranium supply.

And they let the deal happen anyway:
“The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns. And none of that evidence got aired before the Obama administration made those decisions,” a person who worked on the case told The Hill, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution by U.S. or Russian officials.
And as they are wont to do, the Obama administration denied all of it:
The Obama administration and the Clintons defended their actions at the time, insisting there was no evidence that any Russians or donors engaged in wrongdoing and there was no national security reason for any member of the committee to oppose the Uranium One deal.
Probably depending on the stupidity of the American voter again. Cases against individuals were watered down seemingly with the intent to shield the Clinton's:
The only public statement occurred an entire year later when the Justice Department put out a little-noticed press release in August 2015, just days before Labor Day. The release noted that the various defendants had reached plea deals.

By that time, the criminal cases against Mikerin had been narrowed to a single charge of money laundering for a scheme that officials admitted stretched from 2004 to 2014. And though agents had evidence of criminal wrongdoing they collected since at least 2009, federal prosecutors only cited in the plea agreement a handful of transactions that occurred in 2011 and 2012, well after the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States’s approval.

Here’s the same article, with more details, from a “more reputable” outlet than The Hill. Did this change anything? Did anyone by the name of Clinton go to jail or even get investigated for their involvement?

So you do not believe that the Hannity tweet & Assange tweet are related to each other's tweet.

I guess if Hannity remains silent then his tweet will never be completely understood as to its true meaning. If Assange never releases anything the same will apply to him.

I am still thinking that Hannity's & Assange's tweets are related.

Not saying the thought of this being what Hannity's tweet was about is wrong, just that I still believe Assange is getting ready to release something besides just the deadman's key.

Too bad the New York Times and Washington Post are in the tank for democrats... this would be an interesting story to explore...

Thanks, just wanted to see how close they were to each other. My take is you are absolutely correct, one or the other is using the others story & not attributing credit where credit is due, at least as far as I have seen so far.

So you do not believe that the Hannity tweet & Assange tweet are related to each other's tweet.

I don't think Hannity has any advance knowledge of what (if anything) Assange is planning to release. Lately Assange has been focused on the Catalan independence movement, so if he does have something big to come out it may be related to that.

As far as the Russia-Clinton pay-to-play stuff... this is already pretty well documented and widely known... has been for quite some time. No one in government (or the MSM) cared about it when it came out, and now its just old news.

Too many in the swamp are up to their eyeballs in corruption. Taking on the Clintons means they go down too... its sort of a MAD (mutually assured destruction) sort of arrangement that's been developed between the Clintons and the swamp over decades.

Is this what they call a blog? I think I’ve heard of blogs. Is a blog something where a person spends an hour writing something everybody already knows and then spends the rest of the week trying to get everyone to read it? I think I’ll continue my practice of not reading blogs.

This gambit by Bill Clinton (meddling in a foreign election) got the Russian uranium takeover scheme going. Bill's calculated handshake was a bonanza for the Kazahk president's re-election. Nazarbayev responded in kind and signed-off on the initial phase of the US uranium assets takeover.

`

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev greets former
president Clinton in Almaty on September 6, 2005.

NOTE Kazakh is remembered as the last state to peel off from the USSR.

CIRCA 2015 A Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter claims that former President Bill Clinton falsely denied hosting a meeting with Kazakh officials when she tried to write a story that involved his foundation several years ago.

Jo Becker, who works on the newspaper's investigative desk, said Clinton only confirmed the meeting took place after she informed him there were photographs.

Clinton's role in a deal that involved Kazakhstan, the Russian government, and a man (Giustra) who donated millions to the president's charitable foundation were detailed in a story Becker published on Thursday.

That article revisited some of her earlier reporting and included information from the upcoming book "Clinton Cash," which is generating widespread headlines amid a flurry of reports suggesting it will raise serious questions about Clinton's family foundation.

The donor in question is Canadian mining executive Frank Giustra, a longtime friend of the former president who has given tens of millions to the Clinton Foundation in the past few years. (A couple of hours after the NYT story was published, Giustra issued a defiant statement. We've included that below.)

Becker initially wrote about the February 2007 meeting between Clinton, Giustra, and executives from the state-owned nuclear company Kazatomprom in 2008. The gathering took place at Clinton's home in Chappaqua, New York.

"When I first contacted both the Clinton foundation — Mr. Clinton's spokesman — and Mr. Giustra, they denied any such meeting ever took place," Becker recalled in footage aired by Fox News on Thursday. However, Becker said Clinton and Giustra both changed their stories after she confronted them with evidence to the contrary.

"And then when we told them, 'Well we already talked to the head of Kazatomprom, who not only told us all about the meeting, but actually has a picture of him and Bill at the home in Chappaqua, and that he proudly displayed on his office wall.' They then acknowledged that yes, the meeting had taken place," Becker continued in the television interview.

The purpose of the meeting, then Kazatomprom President Moukhtar Dzhakishev told The Times, was to discuss Kazakhstan potentially buying a 10% stake in Westinghouse, a US nuclear company. Becker's 2008 story also noted one of Giustra's companies secured a deal to buy uranium deposits from Kazatomprom in 2005.

That agreement was made after Clinton accompanied Giustra on a trip to Kazakhstan. During the trip, Giustra and Clinton met with Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Clinton issued a public statement praising the Kazakh leader despite his questionable, antidemocratic record. The Times called the praise a "propaganda coup" for Nazarbayev. (he later "won relection" w/ an unbelievable 90% of the vote)

"Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton's charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra’s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton’s inner circle," wrote Becker and another reporter, Don Van Natta.

A spokesperson for the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership told Business Insider they are "working on a formal statement" in response to a request for comment on Thursday. Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership is an initiative of the Clinton Foundation that was cofounded by Clinton and Giustra in 2007. A Clinton Foundation spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.

The NYT report noted that these uranium investors also donated to the Clinton Foundation, as follows:

<><> Canadian mining mogul, Frank Giustra, globe-trotting pal of Bill donated $31.3 million and a pledge for $100 million more to the Clinton Foundation. Giustra built a company that later merged with Uranium One. Seems to have facilitated the uranium sell-off. Giustra has a "Clinton-connected foundation" in Canada and will not disclose donors.

<><> Canadian Ian Telfer—donated $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation. Mining investor who was chairman of Uranium One when an arm of the Russian government, Rosatom, acquired it.

<><>Paul Reynolds—donated $1 million to $5 million to the Clinton Foundation Adviser on 2007 UrAsia-Uranium One merger. Later Reynolds helped raise $260 million for the company. Could be the money-laundering apprat.

<><>Frank Holmes-—donated $250,000 to $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Chief Executive of U.S. Global Investors Inc., which held $4.7 million in Uranium One shares in the first quarter of 2011.

<><> Canadian Neil Woodyer-—Founded Endeavour Mining with Giustra—donated $50,000 to $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Adviser to Uranium One.

<><> GMP Securities Ltd.-—Donating portion of profits to the Clinton Foundation. Worked on debt issue that raised $260 million for Uranium One. (Prime candidate for the money-laundering apparat---aided and abetted under cover of the "do-good foundations.")

==============================================

Who paid Bill Clinton's $2.5 million commission and $500k speaking fee by a Moscow bank for brokering the sale of 20% of America's uranium deposits to Russia...giving Vladimir Putin and the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States?

Sessions should appoint a SP for this. Half of Mueller’s team was complicit in this cover up.

“Just dropped a MOAB on the Swamp”

That is an utterly absurd statement. The mainstream press will not print it. Sessions will not prosecute it.

NOTHING is going to happen to these criminals. NOTHING!!!!! WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP EXPECTING JUSTICE, LAW, AND ORDER from this administration???? I just don’t understand.

I’m not picking on you. personally. I just get really frustrated that more people don’t see this. The sooner you accept this and just get back to paying your taxes like a good little slave, the better off you will be.

I saw it on The Hill first, and it was linked off of Drudge.

Rush also cited The Hill during the opening monologue of his show so I'm assuming perhaps incorrectly so that The Hill is the originator.
