So...we can’t criticize the press now? Sounds a bit Orwellian. The Constitution is built to check abuses of power because we know man is flawed. So are they saying the people who run the press are Gods, who never error?

No, the media have done a very nice hatchet job on their own credibility without Trump's help. They bit a poison apple in 1972 and have been preening in celebrity and a very mistaken sense of probity ever since. Guardians of democracy? They're guardians of their own bank accounts and over-inflated sense of self-importance, that's all.

Does a Press that blatantly LIEs and calls the President Insane have free speech rights? Politicians are allowed to lie because the judiciary knows they can’t execute all the promises they make. What allow the press to outright lie and call the POTUS insane or worse?
