Nolte: Why Did NBC Spike Hollywood’s Biggest Scandal Ever? Weinstein Is a Democrat.
Breitbart.com ^ | 13 Oct 2017 | John Nolte

Errol Flynn tried and acquitted for statutory rape? Lana Turner’s Mafioso boyfriend killed by her daughter? Joan Crawford’s wire hangers? Ingrid Bergman’s affair with Roberto Rossellini?

Not even close.

Eddie Fisher dumping America’s sweetheart Debbie Reynolds for sexpot Elizabeth Taylor? Elizabeth Taylor dumping Eddie Fisher for Richard Burton while nearly putting 20th Century-Fox out of business with Cleopatra overruns?

Pish-posh.

Mel Gibson’s rants? Rob Lowe’s sex tape? Marilyn Monroe’s affairs with John and Bobby Kennedy? Woody Allen? Fatty Arbuckle? Thomas Ince? Natalie Wood? The Black Dahlia?

Stop boring me.

Never in the sordid, 100-year history of Hollywood has there ever been a scandal that even approached the size, scope, and consequence of the still-mushrooming Harvey Weinstein sex-a-palooza.

Think about it…

...

NBC is only about one thing… protecting the power of centralized government by protecting Democrats.

NBC News is nothing more than a leftwing propaganda outlet, and if covering up for an alleged sexual predator results in a few more victims, NBC News sees those broken women only as sacrifices to The Cause.

Harvey was obviously the ubermensch in tilting all airwaves, PBS particularly, to the Sodom/Gomorrah attack they’ve taken up the last eight years.

I hope that what we are seeing is an indictment of the news business as a whole.

The New York Times, The Washington Post, the TV networks, all of them fixate over every single innocent mistake that a Republican makes. However, with Democrats they cover up yuge abuses of power.

The MSM sure learned the lesson from Gary Hart's Monkey Business. We saw Newseek spike the Monica Lewinsky story, NBC spike the Juanita Broderick story, the networks try to spike the John Edwards affair story, and now the top Democrat donors and celebrities groping, exposing, and rape stories.

If you are a Republican, you get the Bob Packwood treatment, the Robert Foley treatment, the David Vitter treatment, the Herman Cain treatment, the Todd Akin treatment, the Richard Mourdock treatment.

All of America's centers of journalism have moved past "fake news" into the much worse "corrupt news." They are purposely omitting important stories from the American people because they involve persons who are important to Democrat causes.

Americans cannot trust that the news being presented to them is really the news that matters, and that is serious business.

Another big reason is NBC also has Universal Studios. They did not want to rock the boat in Hollywood.

The networks are 100% in the service of a collectivist agenda. They will downplay or dismiss any story that reflects badly on collectivism.

They criticize those Democrats who oppose any item on the collectivist agenda and praise those Republicans who support any item on the collectivist agenda. This allows them to call themselves "non-partisan."

But they are relentlessly partisan supporters of the Holy Mother Welfare State, and will defend it to the death against even the slightest threat.

Completely correct.

Harvey Weinstein masterfully "bundled" donations from some of the most prominent people in the entertainment industry--movies, TV, music, and live theater--to many prominent Democratic Party political campaigns. As such, Weinstein has connections with just about everyone in entertainment industry.

And now, those very connections will end up hurting the entertainment industry. People as wide-ranging as Lin-Manuel Miranda (the creator and long-time star of the smash success musical Hamilton) and Robert Iger (the CEO of the Walt Disney Company) have to start consulting with their lawyers because they could be culpable and/or become material witnesses in this scandal.

‘Sacrifices to the cause’ ... well and truly spoken/written. Feministas will sacrifice anything, for the liberal rot in their souls.

People need to pay attention to this - this is bigger than Weinstein. This may be a chink in the armor that we've been looking for. It's a revelation of historic proportions that has been long overdue. It's been very interesting as to who has been vocal and how, who has remained silent. Saw an attorney last night talking about involvement by the DOJ and the distinct probability of RICO actions resulting. Civil suits would spill even more beans that will be picked over, creating even more leads. All this may, just may produce a long awaited silver bullet that unravels and takes down the corrupt entertainment/media/political axis.

Saw an attorney last night talking about involvement by the DOJ and the distinct probability of RICO actions resulting.

Compare these three following cases:

With Weinstein, there are stories of payments made to hush up his molestations. These were supposedly all women of age, however he used his power and influence to threaten their livelihoods if they didn't comply. That is the classic hostile workplace harassment. If the payments were made by the company, that affects shareholders, but I think the Weinstein Company is a privately held business.

Michael Jackson was alleged to have made payments to hush up molestations of under-age boys. While it tarnished his reputation, he was still considered musical royalty.

Dennis Hastert was accused of molesting under-age boys many decades ago before he entered Congress. He made payments to hush up molestations, but he was arrested for "structuring" the payments to avoid financial reporting requirements, and was eventually sent to prison.

One of these is not like the other two. Care to guess which one and why?

This story is about money, power, & influence, a story as old dirt.

Does anyone doubt that there are numerous women who gladly submitted themselves to Weinstein in return for fame & fortune? I’d bet many of the women now criticizing him now are in that group. Look at his wife: nearly half his age, beautiful, & talented. Why would such a woman marry a fat, incredibly ugly guy? Surely it was not his sexual charm or respect for women.

In a PERFECT WORLD Progressives would not have ‘side effects’ of abusing women...but the world isn’t ‘perfect’, so we have to take what we can get.

(media’s rationale for supporting Weinstein for decades)
