(INTELLIHUB) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department audio captured during last Sunday’s active shooting at Mandalay Bayresort and casino reveals how officers confirmed that there were at least two shooters firing down onto the crowd of concertgoers attending the Route 91 music festival.
After a series of fully-automatic gunfire popped off and people started getting struck by flying rounds a team of law enforcement officers and another ‘element’ stormed the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay it was feared that there was an additional shooter on the 29th floor.
“We have a four-man team up here and we have another element moving to us. We will need the 29th floor,” one officer said. “It sounds like it’s confirmed, there are at least two shooters with fully-automatic weapons.”
Additionally, the audio recordings also reveal that a black Chevy dually pickup truck fled the parking lot during all of the commotions and that an older white male who was wearing fatigues and carrying a black bag was spotted retreating into a white RV by the Tropicana and the Motel 6. Pedestrians said that the man came from the area of the shooting.

“This is 335 Zebra. I need to know if we have that floor evacuated other than our suspects. We got […] sniper going up,” a voice called out over the radio.
That’s when 720 called in an confirmed he had a 12 man element entering the east side of the Mandalay Bay.

It’s important to note that their may be a total media blackout and that other hotels may have been targeted.
Keep in mind, the New York Times failed to report the hard details in the conglomerate piece titled “Chaos at a Concert and a Frantic Search at Mandalay Bay.”

You make some good points. There certainly are a lot of pieces to put together.
The glass issue raised a question for a pro installer I saw post elsewhere. There’s 800 lb resistant windows on the outside and tempered glass on the inside.
If he used the hammer (we see it in the leaked photos) and struck the tempered glass, it’d shatter everywhere and be all inside the room. But the photos don’t show any glass inside the room. Did he sweep up? Did they clean it up prior to taking the photos? Or perhaps he was laying dead where there was no good view of the windows?

I post this for one reason: The photo of the hotel appears to show windows that open. I’m not claiming there was a second shooter; rather, I am saying that at least some of the hotel windows appear to open.
A Mandalay valet said broken glass fell around them before the shooting started, so most of the broken glass ended up on the valet ramp below.

That might have been the switching guns and windows thing. Different angles making different sounds.
I listened to 8 minutes of gunfire on a video from the scene. The gunfire started and stopped, but at no time did I hear two guns fire at the same time.
Wouldn’t shooting the window be enough to break it outward?

I recall someone stating that paddock started his most recent gun shopping spree in october 2016. That’s a month before Trump won. Given that the media at the time was pushing the narrative that hillary would win easily, that may minimize the theory that paddock did what he did because of Trump. Unless of course paddock saw through the media lies and instead saw the massive Trump momentum, making him prepare for the eventual Trump win by starting his shopping spree.

Mandalay Bay also has those little “ventilation strips” that you can slide open if it’s the phobia about air circulating...???

OR... lets play this out. Somehow, in conjunction with the hotel maintenance staff, someone was firing from other windows in the hotel, and managed to repair those windows before anyone noticed.

I have not read anywhere that all 573 victims were injured or killed by gunfire. We know there were at least 58 fatalities, but we don't know how many people were hit by gunfire, versus how many were injured or killed by trampling.
It seems that some people are assuming that all 573 victims were hit by gunfire. To my knowledge, that has not been established by official statements.
Many of the injured were injured by the rush to exit, by ricochets, or were cases of a single bullet passing through more than one person. The crowd was very packed. The aimed shots were at a group of 22,000 people standing shoulder to shoulder. There is not as much need for accuracy in this situation.
I agree with multiple shooters. I was listening to the video last night at the press conference, and there were serve roll the strings of firing at different rates overlapping each other. That was not an echo. Several of the recording’s suggest the same. And I don’t think the sheriff as one example, has explicitly stated there was a single shooter
