I’ve lived in that kind of neighborhood. It makes all kinds of sense. Any good cop will tell you that somebody always knows something in cases like this, especially family members and neighbors. We’re just getting started with this investigation. If the FBI doesn’t try to suppress it, we will find out all sorts of things about this guy in the coming days and weeks.

The area we live is not all retired, but it is amazing how people watch each other.
3 single guys with good jobs and high incomes bought a house in this area and share it. A few months ago, each of them got a new high end luxury car. Months, later, they still have the paper stickers on their windshields and not the regular license plates.
Apparently, they have been turned into the local cops and CHP’s by some locals. The DMV is behind, and they were not
avoiding buying the regular licenses.
One of the guys complained to my wife and I about how they ended up under a watch list. I told him for years, postmen have been turning people moving in from out state and not getting Cali licenses under some reward system for reporting the drivers.
