I have one. Make it so that the GD website is attractive, the links all work, and it doesn’t take you in endless circles when you try to find something.

More and more websites are requiring that their visitors allow Google spy-bots to run to present their content.

I will not do that.

Just discovered yesterday afternoon that one of my favorite firearms related suppliers, midwayusa.com will not function at all without allowing google-bots to run. I sent them a note that this 30+ year customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars with them in that time, will not buy from them again if they require the evil google behemoth to collect, store and sell information on everything I look at or buy. Especially on ‘sensitive’ items like that.

It irritates me that even Free Republic has a google spy-bot on every page, but at least they will allow the content to presented if you block the Google crap. A lot of sites will show nothing useful until you permit one or more google apps to run.

Good tips. I think that it's pointless to spend money on website development. It's better to build a website on your own. When I started my ecommerce business I used magento platform. It's completely free. Moreover it has so many useful extensions, like magento2 product feed or product review or pre-orders etc. It is affordable and easy to implement. You can do pretty much everything on your own, without any special skills.
