The Deep State Is Without Limitations– Trump Has Made It His Mission To Bring It Down

Our Founders created the Constitution with the intent of escaping the Deep State. In pre-Revolutionary era British courts in London secretly issued general warrants to British government agents. They authorized agents to search where they wished and seize what they found. This was so offensive to our Colonial ancestors that it was more important than the “no taxation without representation” argument.

The Constitution was written, and the Fourth Amendment was established to stop general warrants and guarantee the right to be left alone by forcing the government to focus on the bad guys. However, in time the Deep State penetrated the wall put up by the Constitution.

In 1978, Congress became the enemy of the American people by passing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Supposedly it was passed to end the government spying of the Nixon Administration, but what a joke that was. FISA was established in a secret court, permitting it to issue warrants to spy on agents of foreign governments when present in the US.

Slowly because of the desire to be safe and secure, the American people gave up their actual freedom from the Deep State. FISA was easy for the government to justify, and Americans were told it cannot be used against them. This was the beginning of the end, and Deep State creep was happening while Americans thought they were being well protected.

The debt ceiling deal(s) certainly don’t indicate that.

1. The link doesn’t go to the article.

2. What the excerpt of the article you posted doesn’t make clear is that the Nixon Administration claimed it could engage in “national security” wiretapping without any warrant at all. So requiring a warrant from the FISA court was an improvement, whatever flaws there are with the FISA procedure.

The greatest battle in the history of the Republic is currently being waged behind closed doors.

Upon it lies the fate of the Constituion, the fate of Liberty, the fate of the Republic.

Is the deep state synonymous with Eisenhower’s military industrial complex?

The deep state is greatly expanded from Ike’s MIC. The deep state is global, run by mega corporations that control every component of our society. One man cannot take this system down; but,a million men fighting without fear on the side of God, can change the world.

Isn't it more the other way around?

The Deep State has made it their own mission to take President Trump down.

Trump is harder to pin down.

He doesn't fit into the expected political patterns that well.

The deep state are the nameless faceless leftist bureaucrats that keep the ship of state headed in a leftest direction no matter who is standing on the bridge.

Deep state running out of the executive branch. The Check$ and Balance$ have not the will nor the want to stop it.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. - list of grievances; Declaration

I think the “deep state” is synonymous with a rowboat. Everybody over 60 has been in a rowboat at one time in their life. And, all who have know that if too many people congregate on The Left side the rowboat will tump over!

So far, I have seen little to indicate that he is a “man of the people.” Government spending continues to grow like a monster. What does it take, short of a revolution, to get a balanced budget, and a serious reduction in long-term debt ?

............in my life, I’ve played approximately I would say some 200 odd chess games. Probably the shortest was 2 hours and the longest a week!

Let’s give our man Trump more time, he’s only been in office about 10 minutes, relatively speaking.

Besides, what other horse can we throw our saddle on?
