First of all, I’m a girl.
Second of all, we were flying reconnaissance aircraft over Iraq all the time through the 90’s and there was significant satellite coverage.
The dearth of video or photographic evidence is... strange. Sorry.
I’ll PM you the rest.
I’m sorry, Miss, but as my old First Sergeant would say, “About the Art of Combat Arms, you don’t know S**t from Shineola.”
If any A/C had been around the battle, they would have been shooting at the enemy, not making Kodak Moments.
It’s not a big video game. Men in battle did not have time to make movies. There was no GoPro, Smartphone videos, no smartphones, body cams, etc. There was only ammunition, and bad guys with their heads blown off.
People were too busy “not getting killed” to give you new home movies.... and the way, they were doing that was by killing the other guy first, not telling him to “Say Cheese!”
Wake up to reality, little girl!
P.S. That is what war really looks like, not like CNN.
