Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal hoped for the assassination of President Trump in a Facebook comment on Thursday then deleted it in a panic.
She even acknowledged she would get a visit from the Secret Service for her comment.

“President Trump, I apologize to you and your family,” Chappelle-Nadal said at the Wellspring Church in Ferguson, Missouri. “I also apologize to all the people in Missouri. And I also apologize to my colleagues in the Missouri legislature for the mistake that I made.”

Actually, Trump would do well to magnanimously accept the apology, and urge the entire country to move on to do the work that really matters to the people.

1. i dont believe woman crocodile tears. women are experts on fake crying and bs apologies.
2. if the tears are real it is because she was called on this and her lame rationalizations did not work for her. not because she is actually sorry for the trump tweet. she is sorry it backfired and she couldnt wiggle out of it.
She apologized, so let’s her return to work, like nothing happened.
I feel less empathy; she should be made an example of, removed from her legislative position, at least. Prosecuted to the full extent of the law to cut this s*** once and for all would be my favored option.
If someone equal in position had threatened her beloved Zero while he held office, you can bet she’d be screaming for their resignation plus jail time.
