Rat? Or mouse?

I have a little mouse that lives under my stove and I rather like the little guy.

Why he would choose to live in a house full of cats, I'll never know.

RAT.

Long story, but I caught the other 2. Simply, rats somehow populated the natural area in our development and I believe 3 juveniles wandered into the open door early one morning.

I got 2 rats...the only reason I suspect a 3rd is disappearing popcorn my bird occasionally drops on the floor and having since used it to determine its continued presence and location (somewhere in the central area of the house).

My daughter has fallen in love with a little gopher we met. He was so tame he cleaned out his home and made huge reconstructions with us sitting there watching him. He was small and very cute. He saw us but seemed unafraid. I despise the rats that get into our homes but this guy was doing his thing in the dried out California soil, so I gave him a lot of credit. Go for it.
