What Foxnews is reporting is that some men attacked a military outpost and stole weapons. That is very credible.

How many examples will it take for people to see that socialism is a road to disaster?

Something like the Turkish “coup” a while back.

Stage an uprising, and see who joins. Then eliminate them.

The maduro regime has the backing of the chinese, cubans, russians, iranians, and all of the south american socialist dictatorships.

But only China has the money to pay. And he who pays the piper calls the tune.

I wouldn't trust Fox News. They farm out too many of their articles/work to the wire services, the same ones that CNN, etc. use, and they just put their own spin on it.

Take what you mentioned: If I hear that some men attacked a military outpost and stole weapons, that tells me that either it was more than just "some men", or that they had inside help.

Cuba and Russia still have their say. Maybe the names and faces change, and maybe Russia lost a bunch of "republics" that bugged out when the Soviet Union fell, but they still do what they can.

There is a reason why Venezuela uses lots of Kalashnikovs, uses Russian artillery and anti-air artillery, Russian T-72s and BMPs, Russian fighters. And Russia wants to keep selling them military hardware, which means Russia is doing everything they can to influence the decision makers.

Staged ‘uprisings” are usually used to excuse the massive purges that follow. Erdogan took that course as have many other dictators.

Maybe the “leaders” are getting scared by the unstoppable anger of the people and they are genuinely fearing for their lives and are going to get out of Venezuela with all the loot they can carry.

And if China provides Venezuela the money to buy those Russian arms? To Iran to buy Russian missiles?
Doesn’t matter how it’s done (and can’t be found out by the likes of me anyway). China’s money runs the show. They’re just so rich it can’t be any other way.
“Eminence Grise” is the apt phrase.

Russia’s actions in the world often appear to be the actions of a client state of China.

The blogger who wrote this piece, Daniel Duquenal, is glad that President Trump is sending a tough message on Venezuela and appreciates Marco Rubio for making noise about the Communist takeover of the country.

More sanctions should be imposed by Trump according to the blogger in other posts and an audio interview I heard.

He wants to see refined oil like gasoline prevented from getting into Venezuela.

That would impact the government thugs who use gasoline for their riot trucks and motorcycles.
