Former US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice is giving President Donald Trump a vote of confidence on international diplomacy.
Rice tells CNBC that while Trump's language "may be different", she says she believes Trump will stand up for both American interests and values on the world stage.
Rice noted that it's still early in the Trump administration.....

Vice President Cheney was much more of a globalist than Secretary Rice ever dreamed of being. She was a Soviet expert hired by Dubya’s father during his administration.

Rumsfeld and Cheney might as well be the same person.
She was recently criticizing the administration and didn’t vote for Trump. I’m not going to say that she is great just because she is praising Trump five months later. Where was she defending Trump on Russia a few months ago?
Deep state has been in power for a long time.
