The small pocket pistols are not for 25 yard shots. The good news is that you can conceal well enough to get closer, if needed.

But they are not the gun to use if there is an active shooter and you NEED to take a long shot.

Conceal carry involves compromises. Places like Arizona, Texas & Florida in the summer pretty much leave you the options of dressing like a slob OR carrying a smaller gun. How small depends on the build and what one is willing to wear.

I live in a low threat area and do almost all my business by day. I’m not inclined to make heroic efforts to conceal. I know a Hawaiian shirt 6 sizes too big conceals...as will an XXXXL T-shirt. I’m just not willing to because I don’t view the threat as justifying it.

A friend of mine always says, “What’s the first rule of a gun fight? To have a gun!” If the gun is too big, bulky, or uncomfortable, you may not always carry it. However, the LCP is always easy to take along.
