I still claim there is linkage - repeal Obamacare -> pass tax cuts -> take savings to rebuild military and build the wall. It all flows together. If you won’t budge to make the first two happen, you can’t get to the savings.
And it’s likely Yellen will keep raising interest rates to sabotage POTUS. Trump doesn’t have any time to waste. He’s got to get the ball rolling ASAP or he will be a one term POTUS.
I thought McConnell put Cruz in charge of the healthcare bill.
So how did Cruz allow this one to get out of committee?
From what I hear, the growth Trump has spurred has made a significant cut in this too although I don't know that for a fact. Simply not spending like Obama on a bender should dismiss those projections.

This bill is garbage....seems like Trump only wants a win....any win. This will turn out very bad if passed. Just the next step to single payer.
The only thing that has been cut is the rate of growth, i.e., we are still increasing the debt, and the rate at which we increase it. It is just that the hyperbolic curve isn’t going quite so straight up.
In other words - Trump (as much as I like him) is only nibbling at the edges - it can never be paid - we will default - and that will cause the biggest feces storm in world history.
McConnel took it on his own....Cruz’s working group was separate than this monstrosity.
And for all the Cruz haters here (still smdh over what’s happened here) the fact that Cruz would even take a call from Trump shows what kind of man he is....Cruz could easily tell him to F off.
Keep talking. The Prez who will be the saint of health care will be the one who has the Cojones to get rid of the for profit, shareholder driven corporate vultures in health insurance and medical services and drug companies. And as well get rid of government bureaucrats.
All theset entities are driving up cost of health care. These people have no right to control people’s health care while making bucks of the sick.

ObamaCare was always intended to be a gateway to single-payer, this has been admitted multiple times — this is one reason why not flat-out repealing it (as this bill would do) is doomed to failure.
Many of the Republicans ran on repealing it, yet it is obvious that they have no intent to back that up with action; I know a lot of people who have left the Republican party because of their constant and consistent betrayal… I cannot imagine that continuing that course will do the party any good.
