Guess what, Mooch? There are people around the world who are still slaves and still building houses and working hard for those who have enslaved them. Did the First Eyeore, “Glass Half Empty,” Ingrate Lady ever spare a thought for those people? No, she spends all her time nursing her grievances about how terrible her life has been in the evil USA.
So glad that awful woman has moved on.
I think the Whitehouse “historian” or whoever it is that checks for the appropriateness and accuracy chooses several styles, and then the First Lady chooses one.
I don’t think the First Lady begins a search at random and chooses.
I can’t imagine how cool it must be for Barron. Riding in helicopters, touring all the secret passageways in the WH, meeting real live “secret agents” and all sorts of cool stuff I could only dream of when I was a kid.
So it seems likely that Melania won’t start bitching about how hard the job of first lady is and complain that there’s no pay for it, despite the 26 personal slaves owned by the previous chick.
Interesting, this photo from today’d Dairy Mail shows the cane of the Oval office table, carpet and sofa.

I’m just appreciative that she is respectful of her position, and clearly puts a lot of thought into making her wardrobe impeccably appropriate for every single occasion. It shows respect for the people she is meeting, no matter what the function.
