Souter is indeed 77 today, but since he stepped down from the Court in 2009 and was replaced by Sotomayor, there is no death watch for Souter.

Kennedy was one of the most unreliable justices of all time...he just didn't have that core ideological fiber that defines justices of ANY ideology. He reveled in his "swing vote" notoriety.

He has given me nervous fits for years, and he's disappointed and angered me countless times.

I'm praying that he will turn in his robe next week as rumored....and that he'll retire to the place where he's from and where he'll feel right at home, California.
