If a Republican had taken a shot at Pelosi, and we had a Democrat President, the Prez would have ordered every weapon in the US Confiscated, US troops placed on the streets, Republican lawmakers arrested and the Republican Party outlawed, at the very least.
That would be counter-productive to the overall motivation to continue with their endeavors.

Just look at the fake hate crime reactions by the left once they found out the blacks attacked the whites. They were screaming about race attacks and then when they were told it was faked and the blacks racially attacked the whites, silence and stone faces.
