It was truly terrible, and I do like the new cast, but after #2, it really went downhill.
The blatant homosexual “marriage” stuff also was not needed.
Even George Takei came out against making the new Sulu gay. He said it was not what Roddenberry had in mind.
Turns out some homosexuals have at least the tiniest bit of common sense.
Right. That was awful.
And how about the interminable long "Captain-Kirk-does-Evel-Knievel" scene? It felt like it lasted half the movie!
The moment I saw Kirk hop on that dirt bike, I knew that the Star Trek franchise had officially—and probably permanently—jumped the shark...
I kind of noticed the homo stuff. It doesn;t bother me but i have having it rammed down my throat and up my butt (jokes intended).
