Sure they’d be celebrating and then 6 months later they’d be invading. Once they have full military power there’s no reason not to kill us and take our states. You can’t appease a leftist, you can’t make deals with them, and you can’t give them the power to destroy you because they will surly use it.
What was the first thing the Marxists of Russian did once they had full control of Russia? Did they settle down to turn it into a communist paradise? Nope. First they did was invade Poland and kill every non leftist they encountered. They raped nuns, tortured priests, and generally destroyed the countryside. It took the Poles beating the crap out of them to stop them and they continued poaching nations for 70s years after that because they had the power base of Russia to do it with.
You cannot give the left full control of an industrial base like half the US not expect them to use it to exterminate you.
