The Real Threat of Islamic Jihadism in the U.S.

Joe Arrigo’s outstanding podcast, Operation Mockingbird, had on another riveting guest last night. This time, it was Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch, a program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. If you are concerned about the rising influence Islam is having in the West, then you need to check out Jihad Watch.

Why Jihad Watch? The following is from Spencer’s site:

“Because non-Muslims in the West, as well as in India, China, Russia, and the world over, are facing a concerted effort by Islamic jihadists, the motives and goals of whom are largely ignored by the Western media, to destroy their societies and impose Islamic law upon them — and to commit violence to that end even while their overall goal remains out of reach. That effort goes under the general rubric of jihad.”

Instead of the disasterous attempts of “nation building” in the ME we should have insisted and followed the successful example set in post WII efforts in Japan where we delegitimized political Shintoism.
