“Knives are clearly “arms” protected by the Second Amendment and the Washington State Constitution.”

Clearly wrong. Only sporks are protected./s

Having nearly had quite a bit of my life ruined by a training officer trying to show off to a rookie for having a 3 inch knife on my belt (arrested on a felony) that I used for opening loads of boxes at a book warehouse, I’ve been fighting for the elimination of these idiotic knife laws for nearly 15 years now.

Thankfully one of the many detectives who were customers of our gun shop at the time put a stop to that prosecution, but bluntly admitted that most would have gone down as a felony prosecution. (He even had an over eager deputy DA demand to see the knife who admitted upon seeing it with all the residue from a thousand boxes that yeah, umm, that’s a tool, not a weapon.)
