I can’t help but wonder whether the truck was loaded with sewage that was blasted out with the explosives/shrapnel.

Same reason we didn't wait for the Imperial Japanese Army to land in California before we began fighting them.

Or the Wehrmacht to land in New Jersey before fighting them.

Wait- you mean we're actually fighting someone over there? I mean, for the last 16 years we've thrown a ton of blood and treasure at that crap bowl, and it's still a problem. And as far as President Trump's approach goes, so far we've dropped a big-ass bomb on some caves and thrown some really expensive cruise missiles at them. But as long as those goat-humpers can pull off an attack like this, our troops ain't being allowed to break nearly enough of their stuff.

If we are going to continue sending our kids over there, we need to let them toss out the "Let's win some hearts and minds" crap. Instead, let's tear their sh*t up and make a million of their mothers weep and cry like too many American mothers have been doing.

You don’t really believe that do you? If that was our mission it should not have taken 13 years to do so. We won a World War in less than 3.

There’s a NATO airbase in Afghanistan that NATO uses to keep the pressure on Iran so that Iran doesn’t try to restart a full-scale nuclear weapons program. It’s all about Iran now. That’s why the US and NATO are still in Afghanistan.

How awful. Have they figured out the bomber’s motivations yet?

It should have been done right when we had the leverage. This country has lost the will to actually win a war. Hell, we can’t even declare it.
