Despite all it’s armor etc., the A-10 is an easy target in anything other than third world opposition and probably a lot of even them.
Sort of the same for the Spectre. It packs a real punch but can only operate in certain areas.

The A-10 was designed to be effective flying into the teeth of the Warsaw Pact.
It can lose a lot of parts and return home.

The A-10 isn't vulnerable to small arms fire, is it? I know they're not very fast—they can "only" fly at 450 mph—but they are heavily armored at least, aren't they?
