The 41st president, 92, and former first lady Barbara Bush, 91, had lunch with Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to a photo the former California governor posted Friday to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
"Had lunch with two of the greatest Americans," Schwarzenegger tweeted, along with the photo. "President Bush & Barbara have helped me, mentored me and inspired me to enter public service."
Schwarzenegger had lunch with the Bushes after giving the commencement address at the University of Houston....

Arnold completely ruined CA. He could have used his star power to advance a robust conservative or libertarian agenda and made the state great again. At the very least, he could have vetoed all the Democrats' bills and contained the damage that the Dems were doing to the state.
He is a textbook example of what happens when Republicans govern as liberals. Now CA is completely controlled by Dems at all government levels.

Ten years ago, I felt the exact same way. Now, i stopped fooling myself. The Bush family i thought so much of doesn’t exist anymore, if they ever did. I’m sure they are kind in a genteel way, and as patriotic as any Globalist could be. So there’s that. I think Arnold is still very angry at all the teasing and all the little digs that President Trump tweeted about some months back. Would not surprise me at all if he wants to use Bush money to back another Evan McMuffin type spoler candidate. Arnold would love to run himself
but can’t.

The 28 year era of the uniparty is over.
Both 41 and 43 were instigators, Arnold was too weak to punch out of it.
We are witnessing two significant changes, the end of the uniparty and the end of OPEC.
These changes are for the positive.

Hell, even in 2004 CA was tolerable. All Arnold had to do was use the veto to stop the Democrats' assault on the state, which gridlock would have been better than co-opting the Dems' agenda and giving the Dems a total lock on the state now.
Just a complete and utter disaster as a politician.

"Had lunch with two of the greatest Americans," Schwarzenegger tweeted, along with the photo.
George HW Bush fought bravely for this nation in WWII, and Barbara Bush was the wife of one president and the mother of another, so I won't argue with Schwarzenegger's description of them as two great Americans. But George HW Bush broke his word as president, made a joke of fiscal conservatism, squandered Reagan's legacy and a 91% approval rating and turned the nation over to the Clintons - and we're still struggling with the affliction of the Clintons to this day.
Schwarzenegger himself was an absolute disaster as governor - he made a few conservative noises but governed as a pure liberal, destroying what was left of the GOP in California.
