The current bill has zero chance of becoming law, because it is incompatible with the requirements for passage via reconciliation, which is the only way it’s going to pass.

There was ONE chance.

The Freedom Caucus and most FR posters, and much of the so-called Conservative media blew it up, out of sheer reactive stupidity.

Mark Meadows must pay for this in 2018.

The senate parliamentarian implied the Speaker may have misunderstood the rules of reconciliation and indicated he could have had much more leeway with the first version.

Of greatest concern she stated the Speaker never consulted with her, which indicates his agenda was more important than the facts.

Speaker Ryan must go.

BULL. Stop misleading. It was FR posters like you who prevented a conservative repeal from happening.

There are ways of repealing at least most of this bill the GOP simply doesn’t want to. When Scott Brown took away the filibuster-proof dem majority the dems found a way to pass ocare thru reconciliation. If there’s a will there’s a way. Gimme a break on the Freedom Caucus. You don’t pass obamacare-lite to say you repeal something. But nice try.

Byron York: Why can’t House repeal Obamacare? Because a lot of Republicans don’t want to

“”I thought we campaigned on repealing it,” the lawmaker continued. “Now that it’s our turn, I’m finding there’s about 50 people who really don’t want to repeal Obamacare. They want to keep it.”

The original demand was the repeal of Obamacare.

The moment it shifted to “repeal and replace”, the fix was in.
