Aramis Ayala is no stranger to hate.
As the first African-American elected to state attorney in Florida and a controversial prosecutor ― known for her refusal to seek the death penalty in an aggressive capital punishment state ― shes had to field plenty of racist and ugly rhetoric from her neighbors.
But Ayala, who serves Osceola and Orange counties, doesnt back down when shes the victim of a crime. In March, she received two racist letters over two weeks, one of which contained a noose made of twine, her office confirmed to The Huffington Post.
Calling the package a hate crime, Ayala forwarded the letters to the Orange County Sheriffs Office, which launched an investigation, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
An incident report obtained by the paper stated that Ayala believes the hangmans noose was meant as a threat to her as a public official.
Deputies are reportedly working with the U.S. Postal Service to find a suspect. A spokesperson in Ayalas office said the author of the letters didnt leave a name.....

My thought too.
The timing is suspect. She’s only getting the noose now and not when she got elected? It’s politics! Even if she herself is not directly connected to it, some of her misguided supporters may have done it to raise the political heat on Governor Scott!
Probably mailed by a “black” “progressive”, on the agenda of keeping the meme of “racism” going.
So she says......
Because she’s playing it up on TV. That means she’s using it for a political prop and so it doesn’t really matter whether it’s real or not, it’s still fake. Does that make sense?
She won an uncontested election and was funded by Soros. Her husband was imprisoned for drugs and counterfeiting. Her assistant state attorneys were arrested for cocaine use. She refused to recuse herself from the Markeith Loyd case (killed pregnant girlfriend and killed a cop), then refused to seek the death penalty in any case.
She took an oath to support the laws of Florida. That means all of them, not just the one with which she agrees. This shows bad judgement and arrogance. She takes money from Soros. She is married to a felon. Apparently she runs a loose office, too.
I think her judgement and character might reasonably be questioned.
Based on the information you posted about Ayala, there’s absolutely nothing to prevent her from perpetrating this sort of hoax.
Combine that fact with the general hoax climate these days, I’d say she or some associate of hers would make a prime suspect.
I doubt it.
Huffpo... Has Huffpo ONCE reported that nearly all, if not all, “hate crimes” have been hoaxes during Obamanation and since Trump’s election?
If she didn’t actually do it sure sounds like she’s capable of suggesting it to one of her or her husband’s entourage.
Some info about her here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3535397/posts
At least she learned to tie knots in Girl Scouts.
How many days before the fact of the hoax makes page 14 in the Miami Herald? HP won’t mention it. Someone might get offended.
True. I doubt she did it herself. She probably asked a staffer or a teenage relative to take care of it. How many of these “hate crimes” over the last, say, 5 years have not been hoaxes? Some pretty prominent people as well as some loser students have been involved. Someone like a state attorney probably figures she has to illustrate what she feels is a real problem because the dastardly racist evil white people are too lazy to do what she knows they want to do.
An absolutely minuscule percentage. Indeed, the real "story" in the Media should be the fact that almost all such reported incidents are total fabrications.
Strange how that otherwise interesting fact gets virtually no coverage in the Media.
Having said that, I maintain my opinion that this State Attorney had no involvement in this alleged hate crime.
If she did do this, of course, then it'll be a small matter to terminate her employment with the state, which should make her detractors quite happy...
“No noose is good noose” - The Three Musketeers (1939).
Years ago, a friend of a friends friend was sent to prison. Embezzlement, I think. I did not know her.
Anyway, she was sent to a prison in or near Amarillo, TX, which is several hundred miles from my house.
During one spring break I went on an epic camping trip, and on the way back I passed through that town.
I used the opportunity to pen a fake letter (postcard, actually) to the (non-incarcerated) friend ostensibly from the incarcerated friend, and dropped it in the mail there so it would have an Amarillo postmark.
I filled the postcard with high level, non-specific material, like hope all is well; weather here is a bit warm etc.
I didnt even know the incarcerated persons name, so I just signed it Prisoner #3454112.
Apparently I made a big splash. Recipient freaked out.
Fake, hoax.
The noose was for white people freeing slaves.Escaped slaves were returned to plantation.
Meanwhile the muslim Obama has no problem promoting black enslavement. I bet it is a non issue to her when ISiS or the Norks threaten the US.
