I do not have firearms, but maybe it’s time. I was a good shot when I was a kid and we did target practice on grandma’s farm. I have been more concerned lately about protection against criminals. I never imagined I would need firearms to protect myself against alleged fellow-citizens for political reasons.
I was always impressed by the very small knife used by Davy Crockett at the Alamo.

It looks a lot like the paring knife my wife uses for peeling potatoes.

Unintended Consequences.
I often wonder just how many accidents, suicides, drug overdoses, and just flat out disappearances of “string pullers” would have to happen to stop this garbage. I bet it would be a surprise of few it would take.

Doesn’t have to be sinister. One sprays the targeted victim in the face with mace, while that victim is dealing with that, another jabs him in the kidney with the blade, or slices into the back of his knee.
Don’t have to kill or even permanently cripple to be a threat worth curb stomping.

"Speech" is protected. Knifing political opponents is NOT...
Why isn't the press calling these criminals out? If our side was beating up democrats the New York Times would be on the story like white on rice.
OTOH, putting this information out on the internet may be an attempt to deliberately escalate more violence at these events. We hear they're bringing knives, so we bring guns...we bring guns, so they bring bombs....and on
