Be careful with the “vaporized” description. The Left will claim that not only does the MOAB contribute to global warming (because of the blast heat), but also to air pollution (due to vaporized savages).
Trying to figure out the direct cost benefit of a weapon by its death count is silly. If terrorists know that no tunnel system will keep them safe, that’s a huge shift that affects far more Than the 40 dead.
Asymmetrical War is as much if not more psychology than anything else. The days of goat effers thinking they can do whatever and run hack to their caves and sleep safe at night just came to an end psychologically.
“Pock-ee-stonn” is how Pakistanis pronounce it.
