The Mother of All Bombs takes out a terrorist stronghold
The United States dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb in its arsenal yesterday on an Islamic State complex in the mountains of Afghanistan, a powerful indication that the Trump administration takes its responsibilities in the war against Muslim terrorism seriously.
This successful mission is part of President Trump making good on a campaign promise made in late 2015 to “bomb the # out of” Islamic State (also known as ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh). Yesterday the president referred to the military operation as “another successful job,” after acknowledging he trusted his generals in the field enough to delegate strike authority to them.
In case you were wondering what did the MOAB cost....
USA had 20 built at cost of $314 million, per bomb cost of $15,700,000
News report that 36 ISIS killed, making cost per ISIS, $436,111.11
Does not include cost of plane and crew to bomb site and return to base.
Does not include cost of scaring crap out of N Korea idiot.

I never understood why Obama always called them ISIL, while almost everyone else calls them ISIS. I know both are acronyms. I know the L in ISIL stands for Levant. I’m just saying Obama was intentionally out of step with everyone else who uses the acronym ISIS. It seems as if he purposefully wanted to singularize himself by using that term.
He also said “Pock-ee-stonn” whereas the rest of the English speaking world says “Pack-i-stann” in pronouncing Pakistan.
Of course, when ISIS starts taking revenge in the US, the leftists will blame Trump.
President Trump + US military + MOAB + “bombing the sh!+ out of ISIS” and muslim terrorists = WINNING!
But we’re not fighting an economic war. What was the $ value of the ISIS base? And there’s no need for rebuilding....

No matter what happens, the leftists will blame Trump. They can finally let go of their old line, “It’s Bush’s fault!”
The “L” in ISIL stands for “LEVANT”.
Thus, since LEVANT stands for the ENTIRE land area encompassing the ancient Persian Empire, the former President was referring to a Middle East WITHOUT the State of Israel.
I always felt that single word was a huge tip-off regarding his true feelings.
The PR from the detonation of this single weapon goes well beyond the relative paucity of the numbers killed.
Demoralization of the enemy was a big part of the objective, and there is plenty of evidence that a number of entities around the world sat up and took notice. The next one may land on THEM, and that is not a risk they should want to take.
And as far as the cost of the munitions expended, that is immaterial. The money was already spent in the original acquisition. Storage costs now stop.

Complete B.S. based on a poor source called Deagle.
My guess, as the bomb was manufactured in house, and 10 weapons were produced in nine weeks, is that the cost per weapon is less than $100,000.
The only documented cost for the bombs is the design for the guidance system, which cost $35,000.

And how many ISIS were killed in the collapsing of the tunnels and caves? Remember when the US dropped a similar bomb on the caves at Tora Bora?
