There are 30 million illegal aliens here, this is going to take a long time and we need many more ICE officers.
Starting with felons makes sense, but we should not have to wait until illegal aliens harm or kill Americans before they are removed.
We need to cut off employment and benefits to encourage them to go home on their own.
We should also publicize the fact that deportation results in a 10 wait to re-apply for entry.
If they leave voluntarily they can get in line like they should have to begin with.
DACA must be ended.
Continuing to hand out work permits to illegal aliens under this illegal program undercuts all the other efforts.

It is the law, but has ignored until nowAG Sessions knows how to get things done! Enforce the laws you've already got. Go by the book. Say exactly what you mean, and follow through
I'm lovin' it!

People forget the OTHER HALF of the Amnesty bill that Reagan signed in 1986 - which was the enforcement half.
The deal was a serious strengthening of our laws against Illegal Immigration, in exchange for Amnesty. Of course the Amnesty was processed right away and handed California to the Democrats, but no one really thought about the toughening of the laws, because no president, until Trump, bothered trying enforce them.
Now that’s changed.

Gatherings of protesters as well as city, county and/or state officials interfering with Feds going into courthouses, police stations, etc. to prevent sanctuary areas protecting illegal alien criminals from being detained, prior to deportation may now be charged with a federal crime and go to a federal penitentiary, when found guilty with obstructing ICE agents and US Attorneys during their jobs.
Might actually be expanded to churches and non-profit agencies trying to shield criminals from prosecution, when ICE comes to do a sweep.

Is this a Felony felony,
or just a felony felony?
Legal smegal.
Laws apply to some, but not to others.
Example:
Dallas elected goofballs want 4 ounces or less of Mary Juana to be a “citable” offense.
4 OZ?
That was felony distribution when I was a teen.
Now it’s just, oh well, nothing to see here.
You pot head defenders are going to regret the results of your pansy ass non enforcement hoo haa.
And I’m sure you don’t have children or grandchildren.

CRIPES and there are people who are deported and “re-enter” 5, 6, 7, or who knows how many times. Then they kill someone. Or rape them and kill them. Or kill multiple people.
And you know what happens then? Then they are here to stay!

I am very interested in the brazeness of illegals who are protesters. Where is this cited that they will be prosecuted for obstructing justice and not just physical violence against an ICE agent? Thanks.

When you fail to enforce the law or reward illegal behavior, you get more of it. There should be no multiple deportations without serving jail time. When you reenter illegally after the first deportation, you should spend two years in jail when apprehended.
We finally have an AG who will enforce our laws.

This is stated by Gen. Jeff Sessions in this article, that he/they, the Justice Dept. is authorizing the updating charges against those who interfere with US Attorneys in the process of carrying out their sworn duties, as a federal crime, punishable using federal laws, not state or local.
Thus it is putting some real teeth in people and groups standing in the way of carrying out one of Trump's signature promises to the voters if he were elected President.

If Jeff really wanted to put teeth in the law he would declare all assets gained in the US would be confiscated. We could build the wall out of all of those confiscated chromed-out pick-up trucks and leaf blowers.

Could someone explain why they think deportation is worth anything? They just come back next week. I think 5 years in a work camp would be better.

I bet he gives them double secret probation before anyone in the Justice department files any charges. He might even put a sternly written letter in their file. You haven't been paying attention.

Gosh, a strengthening on how we do things (as one facet of a broader approach to illegals) and you find something to carp/worry about.
Some people hate success because there's always something else they want so they piss all over the successes.
