Steven Bannon Leaves National Security Council After Susan Rice Takedown!
IWB ^ | Pamela Williams

Wow, Stephen Bannon is leaving his position in the National Security Council. He says his job is done, after the takedown of Susan Rice. Bannon has exited his role on President Donald Trump’s National Security Council, claiming that his mission is complete.

“Susan Rice operationalized the NSC during the last administration. I was put on to ensure that it was de-operationalized,” Bannon said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal. The council suffered a tumultuous transition after Trump’s first National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn resigned less than a month after he took office and was replaced by Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster.

I am thinking my instincts must be on track, in that I feel Susan Rice is going to take a big fall. Bannon must be pretty certain she is going to be slammed in his announcing of this news. Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Obama allies were furious that Bannon was allowed on the council, even though he rarely attended meetings.

I get it, but Bannon is still the Presidents chief advisor. He’s just talking about his position on NSC.

And it appears he was replaced by Rick Perry, not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Rush said today that this move is no big deal.

“Bannon has exited ... claiming that his mission is complete.”

Trump has a long history of rapidly rotating/replacing top personnel, as circumstances predictably change. The person leading the startup of a phase may be replaced by someone particularly qualified at maintaining the phase, who then may be replaced by someone adept at transitioning to the next phase - not because there’s anything wrong with each person, but because their expertise is focused and what’s needed now may very well not be needed a few months from now.

While everyone’s trying to phrase it like Bannon is being kicked out, sounds more like he has done what he was hired to do, and doesn’t need high-security access to do it any more. Of course, this “fired” narrative is vital to the longer conspiratorial narrative that Bannon is _really_ the guy in charge of the Trump administration, manipulating the orange puppet from behind the scenes. People forget that Regan’s forte was selecting people to run the show according to his high-level agenda; Trump is showing similar talents & methods, just with a much tighter/faster OODA loop.

Well, this should quiet down all the liberals. Remember how upset they were about the makeup of the NSC?!?! Since they’ve got what they want, I guess they’ll move on...

It was the frog legs shocked with electricity hop to the side and out that Frazier did a full second after he received the crossing punch that I remember best. And thinking, “That must be what knocked out cold looks like. Woah!”.

I don’t believe it is spin. Bannon was always to be temporary in the position.
