SB 54 would severely restrict the ability of California's public safety agencies to interact with the federal government to protect the public

Democrats in the Senate Monday appeared to be headed for a very public brawl with the Trump administration over passage of SB 54, by Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles), promoting unlawful sanctuary city policies for criminal illegal aliens. SB 54 would prohibit local police departments and sheriffs’ deputies from assisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and enforcing federal immigration laws

Cut off the federal spigot to Calipornia. They’ll learn really fast.

The left is splitting off from America and certainly they are abandoning any pretense of following the law.

Hmmm. I wonder if they included the disclaimer, as all things in calibfornia, that this is known to cause cancer in calibfornia. I bought a couple of hoses a while back and they had that disclaimer prominently displayed. Even though I’m not in the state.

“Maybe we need an extension to our border wall”

No, we just need to change the location from south CA to west AZ. The Californians are destroying AZ so it would solve that problem too.

Lets see...........

How many military bases are currently in Kalifornica?

How many of those bases can be relocated to another U.S. state?

How long can Kalifornica exist WITHOUT government assistance?

How about Trump ordering an extension of “The Wall” along Kalifornica’s eastern border?

How about charging Kalifornica for the water going into their pathetic state from the Colorado River?

Anyone care to add more?

Anybody know the margin by which this passed? I assume Republicans opposed it. As for Kalifornia, I wish they would just secede and slide into the Pacific.

The left is splitting off from America and certainly they are abandoning any pretense of following the law.

Except that it's like dealing with a terminal alcoholic on his last legs and in total denial.

The California legislature is like... what could be the worst comparison? Like a collection of 100 Obamas out of 120 total. Those other 20 must be feel totally helpless; hard to imagine that level of masochism.

The California legislature is so inept, so arrogant, so stupid that they haven't the brain cells to realize that they can't print money, that there is an absolute limit to what working taxpayers and normal families can literally bear, and that line was crossed years ago. That's what created Trump on the national level.

That idiot Brown is solidly part of the problem now; Bullshit during campaign and spending like a drunk sailor when reelected, total spending of money Californis doesn't have, business as usual and businesses fleeing California like critters in a forest fire.

Bullet train to nowhere costing billions. A carbon copy of San Francisco area BART on steroids; a bottomless pit, financially, forever. Creating a new elite class of unionized parasites getting paid more than surgeons, holding millions of commuters hostage. Until the day of reckoning.

Creating the highest gasoline tax in the nation, ostensibly for the construction and maintenance of highways and roads, then also syphoning that revenue into the general fund to spend on failed programs, always called "investments," but the only equivalent is the incorrigible alcoholic gambler, slowly destroying himself and his family and calling it "investment."

Taxing cigarettes "to care for the victims of cigarettes" with absolutely no accountability then syphoning the billions$ of revenue into the general fund for demonstrably failed programs, none adding any value to society whatsoever, all simply creating an improved breed of parasites.

Yeah.
Like that will work.

Sooner or later the bankrupt working taxpayer will demand an accounting of where all that tax revenue and bond issues money have actually gone. Including Obungo's billions$ advertised as for "infrastructure."
I hope that Moonbeam Brown and the incompetent Legislature aren't counting of further California Bond Issues presented to the people, overwhelmingly passed by voters WHO HAVEN'T PAID TAXES THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, AND WHO STAY ALIVE WITH THEIR TRAIN OF LITTLE BASTARDS ON FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL WELFARE OF ALL KINDS; LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF "PROGRAMS."

I hope that all the legislators, past and present, realize that when (not if) State bankruptcy arrives, the retirement checks they so generously voted for themselves will be among the first things to disappear. If they're lucky.
I imagine worse.

It’s a wonder that all the Baby Boomer Children survived past their 30’s with drinking out of Garden Hoses, riding Bikes without wearing Helmets, playing with all the good stuff in our Chemistry Sets (playing not eating), riding in Cars without Seat Belts and riding in open Pickup Truck beds.

That’s been suggested for months. Wake me up when someone actually makes it happen. Furthermore, those advocating shielding illegals from deportation should be arrested for obstruction of justice. (snooze)

That is called “Nullfication.”
Either other states now get to nullify federal law (I’m think the rulings against voter id...), or, it is time to break out the Army and show Sacramento what an REAL occupation looks like.
