The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

The New York Times’s examination of the Uranium One deal is based on dozens of interviews, as well as a review of public records and securities filings in Canada, Russia and the United States. Some of the connections between Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation were unearthed by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forthcoming book “Clinton Cash.” Mr. Schweizer provided a preview of material in the book to The Times, which scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting.

“Well, here’s why: no credible source alleges that Hillary Clinton was paid by Russia for American uranium.”

We’ve been saying this about the entire MSM for decades! He got it! He finally got it!

A newly released GAI timeline depicts the sequence of events leading up to then-Sec. of State Hillary Clinton’s approval of the transfer of half of U.S. Uranium output (20% of all U.S. Uranium) to the Russian government in 2010.
Clinton’s State Department was one of eight agencies to review the deal, but Hillary Clinton was the only agency head whose family foundation bagged $145 million in donations, reports the New York Times and Clinton Cash.

Indeed, the head of the Russian government’s uranium company, Ian Telfer, made a secret $2.35 million foreign donation to the Clinton Foundation, as was confirmed by the New York Times.

Bill Clinton also received a $500,000 speaking fee for a speech in Moscow paid for by a Kremlin-connected bank, reports the New Yorker.

Yet Pelley and the rest of the Deep State media are all in on the Russian “stolen election” narrative when no credible sources can prove it. Pelley is such a smug, arrogant SOB. I thought Dan Rather was bad enough but Pelley is a bigger pompuous SOB than him.

There is a reason why we in fly-over America refer to this once great network as SeeBS.

NYT was not a credible source so says SeeBS.

The fake stream media is constantly “Gas-lighting” the public, which refers to the Ingrid Bergman movie from the 40s.

There is no “credible source” that the Rooskis hacked the election either but that doesn’t seem to bother the Bolshie fags at SeeBS.

Pelley is the worst of them all at CBS and that takes a lot of incompetence to be that.

“Well, here's why: no credible source alleges that Hillary Clinton was paid by Russia for American uranium.”

Typical Clintonian parsing. The money was paid to the Clinton Foundation and to Bill in the form of speaking fees. So they can say that no checks were cut with Hillary's name on them while ignoring the massive corruption behind that.
