A friend of mine had to have 28 stitches across his left thigh from just one pass of a medium-sized hog in a really bad mood. They’re nothing to mess with at close range, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Even if you do, they’re so unpredictable, bad things can still happen.
Some of those people just look like dopes. Who the hell would walk up to one just standing there, even if it is wounded?
Seems to me you would walk up only if it looked like it was dead, and then only after you make sure.
