Pressure points

Yesterday, newly minted Attorney General Jeff Sessions re-iterated his threat to yank federal funding from so-called “sanctuary cities.”

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday warned so-called sanctuary cities they could lose federal money for refusing to cooperate with immigration authorities and suggested the government would come after grants that have already been awarded if they don’t comply.

Illegals are murdering, killing by reckless homicide, and raping underage girls.

You are enabling that by refusing to abide by the law.

You are the ones with a gun to our head. We have a right to defend ourselves against your lawlessness.

No, better to make the ultimatum first. That forces the local Dem politicians to go out and publicly grandstand against it, so the local citizens will remember exactly who caused their budget woes when the funding is yanked. Without that, the locals will only be pissed at Trump.

Why listen to Garcetti, Lee and Emanuel?

They say they’re mayors of the big cities by virtue of American law.

But they just said they don’t abide by American law.

So why should we care what laws they make or things they say?

They’re in rebellion against the nation and now side with foreign nations against us. A nation isn’t dirt, it’s people.

This is serious folks. This is no damn different then when some of my ancestors seceded 157 years ago. That’s what these guys are doing - and pretty much for the same reason: they want their slave class.

Time to do what’s right.

Both the Republicans and Democrats stopped worrying too much about “Constitutional authority” about a century ago. The federal funding is a lever both parties use to exert control over state and local governments. They won’t ever give up that power voluntarily.

On how many hundreds of federal rules have the Dems said “voluntarily do it our way or your funding will be cut”? The national 55mph speed limit. Seatbelt laws. DUI at 0.08. Common core in education. Sex equality in funding school sports: you better add some girl wrestlers or bye-bye all wrestling. And the newly popular perverts in the girls restroom. And many, many, many more.

My Libertarian friend: States Rights, Police State

Me: Does the federal government have to send them funds?

Him: You are Xenophobic

Me: Whatever. I’ve always hated those who play the race xard. It used to be confined to Libs but now RINO NeoCons and you autistic Libertarians do. I didn’t acknowledge “muh racism” when libs used it and won’t start now.

But it’s okay for all the other federal alphabet agencies to put a gun to the heads of actual US Citizens to comply with all their regulations?

From Article VI of the Constitution: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution.

<>More importantly, states don’t get to pick and choose which statutes to which the “feel like” adhereing.<>

Article V opponents call it legitimate “nullification.” Oh.
