I plan to spend the next Earth Hour thinking about who immediately benefits from the collapse of the electric grid. Since the scientific evidence that attempts to connect global warming and so called Green House gases grows flimsier with each passing day I'm not willing to make any longer term prognostication (sorry Algore). At this point I'm thinking the only true immediate beneficiaries are inmates on Death Row in states still using Old Sparky. Please feel free to add other suggestions.

I missed it too, but that explains why every light in my neighborhood was on, except a couple people that nobody likes. Even the brand new houses that are yet to be occupied had lights on. I love my neighborhood.

To celebrate I ran a late shift in the CNC shop last night. I had 3 machines going, all cutting aluminum. The lights were all on. The computers will all going. The inspection equipment was all going. I was blasting the radio. The only slacking I did was the furnace didn’t kick on because of all the that the machinery produces.
