There have been those saying that if you put everything Cruz wants in reconciliation and get it through Obamacare can still be revived until you finally kill it with a non-reconciliation bill (presumably requiring 60 votes or nuking the filibuster first). Those then poo poo Cruz's comments and favor the Ryan 1-2-3 plan with phase 3 to happen after midterms when they hope to have 60 votes. I'm paraphrasing obviously, but trying to be fair about it.

Well, if you need 60 votes eventually in either case (of which I'm not sure) why not get as much up front as you can. Ryan bill doesn't help anyone much except the insurance companies and the medicaid moochers who weren't poor enough to qualify for medicaid pre-expansion up front. MY premiums will keep skyrocketing and they're already above the income poverty line. Cruz's plan kills the mandates NOW that are pushing up premiums and deductibles and making actual healthcare unaffordable both to receive and for doctors to provide. Save the many with the Cruz plan NOW and scr*w the moochers, the insurance rent keepers, the lobbyists and the politicians they've bought!

The midterm senate races aren't being fought in moocher territory, they'll be fought over those currently in insurance h*ll. Do the Cruz fix now and if you really need to laminate it with 60 votes you'll have them in two years. Cruz is willing to let Pence play the hero and Trump claim the credit if he can be sure there will be true credit to claim. Yes the Rats will claim we played hardball, but they always claim that even when we've been the worst squishes. Ignore their complaints and enjoy the schadenfreude from having the clever lawyers and Harry Reid style willpower on our side for a change! Then do it to them over and over again. A LOT of sacred sows need to squeal an active higher before all our problems are fixed.
