To: Texas Fossil
My understanding of current Kali law is that a manufacturer who wishes to sell a new model in that state must go through a state approval process costing $200K and up. Per model Many don't bother.

Anyone with better knowledge on the topic is welcome to correct me there.

But really for $$$$ and total tracking and control.
