Trump plays long ball. He may be working at becoming so popular with constituents that Congress is afraid NOT to cooperate with him. That would ultimately be the most productive. Obama went the scolding and browbeating route, and ended up with EOs that are rapidly being dismantled.
I saw that live and he is the epitome of “Out of the Park”.
For every Freeper talking their smack today, be prepared for a bloody lip.
I think Rush Limbaugh’s comment today re, “I wonder if the guys from ICE will be waiting” comment might have stopped the whole mess dead in its tracks ..???
Finally, a meeting in Congress where we didn’t have to put up with the Code Pink or some such antics.
He might not mentioned anything about “Energy” .. because he still doesn’t have his Energy Secretary in place; still waiting for the Congress to confirm him.
Adults are in charge. GWB doesn’t qualify.

Probably “Code Pink” you are free to share where they exist in history.

GWB has nothing to do with Code Pink.
Code Pink was a LEFTIST organization which was always hired by the LEFT to infiltrate any hearings or Congressional meetings. They were just the typical annoying group that always seemed to show up.
I would of course rate it as an A. But it’s more than that because it is a class of its own: a uniquely landmark historical speech to which others must be compared.
I could not stand that obama speaking what with that sing song pattern and saying nothing as he droned on and on. That was his 1st year. He only got worse as the years went on.
Listening to Donald Trump was the opposite. He said things that were common sense. Of course the democrats hated this and sat on their hands.
