Back on that thread a few weeks ago about the increase in food prices (like avocados) if we deported a bunch of illegals I ran some numbers. I forget the numbers, but an increase of 10% of ALL of our grocery bill would equal the amount of money the gov’t spends on illegals (so in an ideal world our taxes could be lowered). So it would be a wash on the money side of the equation, and the reduced crime, drunk driving deaths, rapes, etc. would be a bonus!
Lots of folks trying to spread fake news rumors before the speech - hope they were smart enough to realize it didn’t happen ....
