If Dems want 'total war,' give it to them
Back in 2008, Barack Obama famously said: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”
It was a mantra of escalation that would serve him well for the next eight years. His “achievements” may be collapsing or headed for repeal but, on balance, he got what he wanted by playing a smarter, meaner, and tougher game than his opponents. Last week we learned that Democrats intend to employ his strategies - en masse - for the entirety of President Trump’s tenure.
At the very least, detain them, in a holding cell, while their status is determined (ie DACA, etc)
Deny the RATS their sideshow.

President Trump is smarter than that.
Sometime in the middle of his speech, President Trump will take out a pen and sign a document that rescinds DACA and then order that all the Illegal Aliens in attendance be arrested.

If the left seriously misbehaves tonight they will have insured their minority for several elections to come.
“Before I begin the State of the Union address, there are several ICE agents here for your convenience. All illegal aliens in the room need to form lines by the nearest ICE agent and they will take care of escorting you to a detention cell while your deportation is being processed. Thanks to all of the Democrats who have done their part in rounding you up.”
It will never happen. But I can dream.

He seems to think he will get some kind of credit for “having a heart” by keeping DACA in operation as though it were law, which it isn’t.
It is in fact just as illegal today under Trump as it was when Obama dreamed it up.
Those little children need reuniting with their parent as the only humane solution.
Their parents are still here.
The only people who are being removed are those who are convicted felons.
Illegal aliens should all be removed, but they will be given the opportunity to harm or kill Americans before that happens.
I just say - What part of Illegal don’t you understand? I do not like the speed limit thru a School Zone, does that mean I can drive thru it at 40? If you complain, I will just accuse you of being anti-commuter. If I shoplift a pair of Jean from Macy’s, I will accuse you of being anti-shopper.
I just do not get this, as the argument falls apart on logic grounds.
Got no problem with immigrants from anywhere, just follow the legal process to come here.
I found a lot of legal Hispanic immigrants when I rang doorbells for Trump that were mad as hell about illegals as they feel it is the reason people look at them and treat them funny at work or the store. So this idea that if I do something about illegals I will lose the Hispanic vote is totally false.

Some of them like Warren are bringing legal immigrants to muddy the waters. I am fine with legal immigrants.
It’s the ones who want to bypass the rules and get special treatment that I have a problem with.

i sure agree with that. I understand the prioritization but those folks that came here illegally are NEXT!!
I still don’t understand the term “illegal immigrant”, if they did not immigrate, if they did not go through the immigration process... then they are not an “immigrant” of any kind. It’s like calling a burglar an illegal house-guest.
I don't think it's so much that Trump declines to rescind DACA, but that ICE won't do out of their way to hunt down DACA kids.
If the DACAs go out of their way to call attention to themselves, though, then it may be a different story.

I have no idea how illegals can get in to the chamber. For certain ID and background check is required.
If for no other reasons, how many of us "little folk" who are US citizens EVER have an opportunity to attend an event such as this?
