The chaos of “Town Hall” meetings where professional posters and signs are popping up, a dead giveaway of paid agitators, could/should be eliminated.

Every elected official conducting “town hall” or community meetings should control who is allowed to enter by requiring photo ID (Driver License) giving the current address. If they claim they did not carry a photo ID, then ask them their current addy, after which you ask what zip code that address is in. Everyone knows their zip code. The zip code should be in the elected official’s district, which would be easily verified by those checking IDs for entry.

If the data of the person wanting entry does not match the accurate zip code, entry should be denied. No one, residing outside the respective zip code list of the official’s district, should be admitted to the meeting. This would eliminate outsider professional trouble makers.

Fake IDs could be detected, perhaps, by requiring persons to state their zip code while their IDs are in possession of the checkers. If people cannot correctly state their own zip code, they are phony residents.

Just because someone is able to tell you a zip code does not mean they reside in that district. I know several zip codes of places I send mail to frequently and yet I have never lived there. A more thorough way would be to have an original bill from the local energy company at a place of residence along with current ID. Then checked in a database. However even this is not 100% surety that the town hall participant resides at the place where they say they do.

Anything created by man can be subjected to the fraud of man.
