When the Governor of a state tells his police not to enforce the law, WAIT didn’t this happen in Alabama a long time ago and the National Guard was Federalized to enforce the law.
It seems that all Federal funds, including those for education can be withdrawn, because the Governor has refused to comply with a legal action by ICE, and impeded their apprehension of illegal aliens.
When the cities, law enforcement, universities and school systems go without and still have to meet the federal mandates, there may be a change of heart. It seems that illegal aliens are more important than the governors own citizens.

States don’t have to assist with enforcement of federal law. What the governor of CT is saying is 100% legal. It’s state’s rights.
I’m hoping idiots like this guy keep being a litmus test for what soon results in turning off the federal cash spigot to these places. Talk about deficit reduction...
